I always enjoy Lent because it is an opportunity for us to look more closely at our relationship with God and our relationships with each other and see how we can grow in new ways in both. Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe that it is already 2026. As I reflect on the past year, I am deeply grateful for the meaningful and faithful ministry we shared in 2025. This year marked a long-awaited FULL return to our building, allowing us to re-imagine how our space can serve both the church and the wider community. Our theme for Advent through Epiphany this year is “What Do You Fear? Insisting on Hope this Advent.” It is all about how we respond to God’s reminder, “Do not be afraid,” even as there is so much to fear. One of the many things I enjoy as I make plans for worship is how we are called to add light each week to our worship space until, on Epiphany, we have more light than we can imagine.
