God Squad

The God Squad class is targeted for children starting at 4th grade through 8th grade. Using The Mustard Seed curriculum, the group follows the liturgical calendar and studies select scriptures through a book study and discussion format. We analyze what we are reading in scripture to interpret what we have read and apply to common experiences during this stage of adolescence. One of our favorite studies was a two-month, in-depth study of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C. S. Lewis. We discussed the symbolism in the story and connections to our basic Christian beliefs.
