Hollis Rosenstein is our Director of Music. She has served Bridgeport Christian Church since 1990. Our music ministries have grown under her guidance. The Chancel Choir has grown in number of members and range of performance level. Hollis initiated our two special music groups, The Bridgeport Boys and The Jubilee Singers. She and her husband, Mike, have a recording studio in their home that keeps them both busy, especially Mike.

Hollis and Mike reside in Springhill Estates with Benny and Coco, their Yorkie and Poodle. They have three wonderful children - Stan Cope, North Carolina - Mary Pedersen, Frankfort - Cindy Crowdus, Frankfort. They enjoy four granddaughters, Bethany, Olivia, Bailey and Zhu Wong.

Hollis and Mike both love the water and spend time at their cabin on Lake Cumberland and on their pontoon boat in the Kentucky River. Mike is a Mr. Fix-it in their home and in her "spare" time, Hollis loves to cook, knit and read. In fact she is a collector of cookbooks and actually uses them. Hollis may be contacted through the church email

Cindy Thurman Elrod serves as our choir conductor and also developed and now directs our handbell choirs. A Frankfort native, Cindy worked at Frankfort High School over the years as band director, math instructor and softball coach. She retired from teaching in the Spring of 2002 after 28 years. She came to Bridgeport in November 2000. Widowed in 1999, she was married to Henry W. Elrod, II, and has two step-sons, Billy and David, and three grandchildren, Dylan, Talan, and Trinity. She directed the First Christian Church, Frankfort, handbell choir from 1985 until 2004. She collects OZ and Disney memorabilia, and has, since retirement from her teaching position, discovered that reading is a growing hobby. She has 5 Boston Terriers - 4 of them certified therapy pets with Love on a Leash. They do volunteer work visiting school, nursing homes, etc.

Marty Hammons is our Youth Coordinator. He joined BCC in 1997 and began serving in his current position in July 2000. A Frankfort native, Marty is a graduate of Frankfort High School and the University of Louisville. He works for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Marty and his wife, Kim, reside in Frankfort and have one son named Parker who was born on Easter of 2006. When he is not working or singing, he enjoys coaching football, running, weightlifting, and spending time with special friends and family.

Reva Beagle teaches our Children's Church program. Reva was looking around for a new church when she first visited BCC. The message that she heard, plus the family-oriented atmosphere kept her coming back. She lives in Lawrenceburg, with her husband of 10 years, Chuck Beagle Jr., on a farm that requires a lot of cleaning and grooming. Reva is a driving force behind the church's Food Pantry.

Fay Utterback serves as our Wedding Coordinator.  A long-time member of BCC, she was the first woman elected to serve as an elder.  She is also the CWF president, sings in the choir, and serves the church in many behind the scenes ways.  Anyone wishing to schedule a wedding at BCC should contact Miss Fay at (502) 223-0275 or email her.
